About Us:

We are committed to ending all abuse in our community
and helping those affected by abuse. We desire that every woman, man and child is safe and enjoying the respectful and honoring relationships that God intends.

Our Mission

is to empower the Christian community and its leadership by bringing awareness to the issue of domestic abuse in our community so that through prayerful collaboration, education and intervention we end abusive behaviors.

“Do not stand by idly and see your neighbor’s blood spilled.”

"Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, and correct the oppressor. Defend the fatherless, plead for the widow." Isaiah 1:17

Our Values

All persons are made in the image of God and therefore, deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” Genesis 1:27

“Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.” Genesis 9:6

“For you have been made a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.” Psalm 8:5

“Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord”. Hebrews 12:14

“Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.” 1 Peter 2:17

All that we do in done with dependence on God, His Word, the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit;

and to the Glory of God.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests

be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension,

will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 (NASU)

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests  which we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:14-15 (NASU)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways

acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASU)

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works,

and glorify your Father who is in Heaven. Matthew 5:16 (NASU)

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)

Our Vision

That the Christian community and its Leadership will:

• bring the Light of Christ on this evil in our midst so that His Light  shines in the dark places
Ephesians 5:11, 13

be well educated on the issues of abuse in order to help those suffering in abusive relationships
Proverbs 11:14

• understand how to offer help and support to create a trustworthy sanctuary of safety for the abused.
Isaiah 61:1b-3b

• create a climate in which abuse is not tolerated and abusers are held accountable while encouraging spiritual restoration.
Ephesians 4:30-32

…so that all abuse is ended and peace and justice reign throughout His land.

“No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.” Isaiah 60:18
